Nidec-Avtron also provides 3-day new miner training for surface metal/nonmetal mines, in compliance with Title 30 Code of Federal Regulations, 30CFR 48.25.

Nidec-Avtron provides MSHA training at its facility near Cleveland, OH; onsite at the customer’s facility; or at a nearby location, based on customer request.

Training Manager Tom Taormina explains, “We offer a variety of training options for our customers to make training convenient and cost effective for them. Providing this new class is exciting because we not only help our customers be proficient on our drive system equipment, we help keep them safe on the job as well!”

Because Nidec-Avtron maintains a full field service department with engineers available 24/7/365, they are able to provide their MSHA class graduates with a free digital replacement copy of their certificate any time of the day or night if they have misplaced their certificate and need it to enter a mine anywhere in the continental U.S.
